Description
Welcome to Fundamentals of Analyzing Real Estate Investments—a hands-on course that teaches you how professional investors evaluate real estate deals. The goal is simple: take you from “I’m brand new” to confidently analyzing opportunities in just a few weeks, using practical methods and real-world models.
What students are saying
James Jhai (5 stars):
Out of 84 courses, this one delivered the most value for the money. The tools and materials are excellent—and it feels like an investment toward real goals. You wouldn’t build a house without the right tools, and this course gives you those tools.
Dave Carls (5 stars):
The instructor doesn’t just share a strategy—he shows how to apply it in real situations.
Bradley Mab (5 stars):
A massive amount of high-value content you don’t usually find elsewhere. The models and deal examples alone are worth far more than the price. The instructor is responsive and keeps improving the course.
Mark Forest (5 stars):
The depth here goes beyond typical offerings. No matter what side of real estate you’re interested in, you’ll find information that can save you time—and potentially money if you apply it.
You’ll learn analysis for areas like
Rental income properties
Fix-and-flip projects
Multifamily apartments
Commercial real estate
Land development
And more
If you’re tired of the “get rich with no money down” hype…
Same. This course is built for people who want real skills and real results, not motivational fluff or endless upsells.
No, I’m not promising yachts and supercars. What I can do is teach you serious real estate investment analysis—the same kind of framework and thinking used by highly successful investors.
Why trust this approach?
After earning an MBA from Stanford, I became a licensed broker and real estate consultant and worked on $400M+ in deals. I’ve spent hundreds of hours researching what actually works—and packaged that knowledge into this course.
Jim Bo (5 stars):
Very detailed and thorough, with a strong foundation. Great videos, and the instructor answers questions quickly and with depth. Recommended for anyone serious about real estate investing.
Nelson Robertson (5 stars):
Clear structure, easy to follow, and great responsiveness. Huge value.
Is this course for you?
You’ll get a lot out of this course if you want to:
Invest with partners in a smart and fair way
Attract investor clients as an agent
Prepare for an acquisitions role (analyst/associate)
Break into real estate private equity and ramp up fast
Analyze almost any real estate opportunity with confidence
Evaluate deals like a professional investor
Improve how efficiently you find and assess deals
Understand short-term rentals (Airbnb) and whether they’re worth it
Use professional-grade models right away (20+ included)
If you said “yes” to any of these, you’re a strong fit.
Theodore Catillo (5 stars):
Much more comprehensive than expected. Great foundation—highly recommended.
Priska Prasetya (5 stars):
Easy to understand, clearly explained, and highly recommended.
Jorge Juyo (5 stars):
Very well organized and presented, with strong visual and media support that makes it easy to follow.
Frequently Asked Questions
I’m not in the U.S.—will this still apply to me?
Yes. The examples are U.S.-based, but the concepts and tools work in any country. Students from 190+ countries use these frameworks in their own markets.
I have zero real estate experience. Will I be lost?
Not at all. The course starts with core fundamentals, so beginners can build a strong base before moving into more advanced analysis.
I already have experience—what will I gain?
Beyond the topics above, you’ll learn how to answer questions like:
Is this deal worth the time and money?
How do I compare two properties objectively?
How do I find deals that match my risk tolerance and goals?
How do I estimate returns and performance?
How do I structure partner investments?
How do I analyze operating assets?
If you already do all of that comfortably, this course may be too basic—but there are advanced options available.
Why so much math?
Because you can’t evaluate an investment seriously without the numbers. If you truly hate math and spreadsheets, this (and serious analysis in general) won’t be a great match.
Why is Excel used so heavily?
Spreadsheets are the most practical way to model real estate deals. The good news: you don’t need to build models from scratch—you’ll follow along and use the templates provided.
Will this course make me rich?
No—not by itself. Anyone promising that is selling fantasy. What you will get is real analysis skill that can help you make smarter, more profitable decisions.
Does this cover anything besides real estate investing?
No—this is focused strictly on professional real estate investment analysis. (And no, there aren’t “secret systems” and $999 monthly payments. That part is a joke.)
What you’ll be able to do after finishing
You’ll be able to:
Confidently apply professional real estate investment techniques
Evaluate both residential and commercial opportunities
Structure partner deals fairly using a waterfall framework
Identify and reduce key investment risks
What you won’t get
This does not provide a real estate license (that’s separate and exam-based).
The course does not include personal deal reviews due to student volume (private consulting is available separately at $350/hr with a 20-hour minimum).
It doesn’t cover every real estate topic (negotiations, law, marketing, REITs, etc.). It stays focused on what matters most for evaluating investments.
Diego Ginzo (5 stars):
Excellent—super clear explanations and concepts.
Larry Butler (5 stars):
Like a huge buffet of real estate investing—there’s a lot, and it’s all well made. You’ll want to come back for more.
What’s stopping you?
Maybe you’re worried it won’t work. It will—if you apply it.
Maybe you’re worried it will work… and you’ll have to start taking action. That’s a good problem.
Yes, it takes effort. Real estate isn’t easy. But if you do the work, you’ll see results.
